We’re proud to offer a number of features unique to this location:
- Serve learning disabled, emotional disabled, autistic, and other health impairments
- Address delays in reading, social skills development, and executive function skills
- Participate in classes at the Valley Career and Technical Center through the Workforce Program
Chuck Longerbeam is the Head of School for Elk Hill Staunton. Mr. Longerbeam started with Elk Hill in 2003 and has worked with Elk Hill through most of his career in education. He has worked at all three of Elk Hill’s schools and facilitated the opening of the Charlottesville location in December of 2010. He feels his whole life led up to working with at-risk kids and cannot imagine doing anything else.
